Since its creation in 1961, ENSEA has contributed to the training of more than 4,000 statisticians from African countries sharing the French, English and Portuguese languages. Since 1990, ENSEA has strengthened its research activities.
The quality of the training and the density of studies have successively earned it the label of WAEMU Regional Centre of Excellence in 2005 and the World Bank’s African Centre of Excellence (ACE) in 2015.
The activities of the “African Centre of Excellence (ACE)” are part of the ENSEA Strategic Plan, which is structured around four action plans.
