THE NATIONAL TRAINING INSTITUTE OF STATISTICS AND ECONOMY APPLIED (ENSEA) OF ABIDJAN PARTICIPATES IN THE 11th WORKSHOP OF THE FIRST PHASE OF THE PROJECT OF THE CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN AFRICA (ACE I) and 2nd WORKSHOP OF ACE IMPACT IN DAKAR, SENEGAL FROM 23 TO 27 SEPTEMBER 2019
Since its creation in 1961, ENSEA has contributed to the training of more than 4,000 statisticians from African countries sharing the French, English and Portuguese languages. Since 1990, ENSEA has strengthened its research activities.
The quality of the training and the density of studies have successively earned it the label of WAEMU Regional Centre of Excellence in 2005 and the World Bank’s African Centre of Excellence (ACE) in 2015.
The activities of the “African Centre of Excellence (ACE)” are part of the ENSEA Strategic Plan, which is structured around four action plans.
