SOTRA: Abidjan Transport Company (Société des Transports Abidjanais)

Since 27 February 2006, a framework agreement has been signed between the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) of Abidjan and Société des Transports Abidjanais (SOTRA).

ENSEA is responsible for :

• organising training seminars for agents
• providing support for the improvement of data collection procedures and the implementation of the information system
• carrying out statistical, economic and prospective studies on their behalf.

And SOTRA is in charge of:

• providing support for pedagogical training by proposing internships and group work topics for students
• supporting, if necessary and to the extent of its possibilities, the activities of associations
• facilitating its research activities in the field of transport economics.
