  • The PMA 2020 platform was launched in 2013 to address the need for performance monitoring to track progress toward the goals and principles of the Family Planning 2020 (FP 2020) initiative.

    PMA 2020 is being implemented in 11 countries-Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo-under the overall coordination of the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health (Gates Institute) at the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Bloomberg School of Public Health and in partnership with a network of universities, research institutions, and national statistical agencies, and with the financial support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

  • Since 2006, a project document, "Trust Fund" was drafted by the three schools (ENSEA, ISSEA and ENSAE-Senegal) with the support of the Economic and Statistical Observatory of Sub-Saharan Africa (AFRISTAT) to request financial support from the World Bank.

  • The Autonomous Port of San Pedro (PASP), created by decree n°95-818 of September 29, 1995, is a State company in charge of managing the Port of San Pedro. As such, it aims to position it as a modern port, a real development tool for Côte d'Ivoire and a driving force for sub-regional integration.

  • Since 2005, ENSEA and the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INSD) of Burkina Faso have agreed to undertake a mutual cooperation aimed at supporting the training of competent statistical technicians for the Burkina Faso Statistical System in a Training Centre located in Ouagadougou.

  • ENSEA and the Institute for Development in Economics and Administration (IDEA international) have signed a partnership agreement for capacity building in the fields of monitoring and evaluation and information systems.

  • Since 1984, ENSEA and the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Niger have agreed to undertake a mutual cooperation aimed at supporting the training of competent statistical officers for the Nigerien Statistical System within the Training and Development Centre.

  • Through the Support Centre for African schools of statistics (CAPESA), INSEE helps to organise joint entrance examinations for the three higher schools of statistics, particularly in the Engineering in Statistics and Economics (ISE) and Engineering in Statistics (ITS) training courses. These entrance organisations are organised simultaneously in French-speaking African countries and their juries, also common, are held in June in Paris.

  • The National Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) is a public establishment of an industrial and commercial nature under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy of the Republic of Madagascar, whose mission is to design and coordinate the implementation of national policy in the field of statistics and its fields of application in the economic, statistical and social domains, as well as to provide scientific support for the management of the national economy.

  • ENSEA is developing several types of partnership with the IRD. In the area of population, collaboration between the two institutions has resulted in the creation of three population observatories: Memni-Montezo, Boundiali and Sassandra.

  • The Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) has signed a partnership contract with ENSEA for the execution of a study on "Sexual behaviour and STI prevalence among sex workers participating in the project of assistance to highly vulnerable populations (PAPO-HV)" in Yamoussoukro and Gagnoa within the framework of the HIV prevention strategic project among sex workers.

  • The contract called "Transforming Education in Cocoa Communities (TRECC)" was launched in October 2016.
