The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée ENSEA in Abidjan and the CBWAS (official account) through the COFEB launch a joint training programme on banking regulation within the UMOA-Titres on Monday 19 August 2024 at the ENSEA in Abidjan.

This training programme is structured around three (3) modules namely:

Module: “Risk management and performance analysis of banks and SFDs”:
This module aims to provide the basics of knowledge of the banking environment and its challenges. It covers the main principles of bank management and the importance of regulations. It also provides an understanding of the major crises and bankruptcies in the financial sector.
🛑2 days: 19 – 20 August 2024

 

Module: “Common Core”:
This module aims to provide learners with knowledge of the requirements of the regulatory text, the organisation of banking supervision, the principles for determining the various ratios intended to guarantee the resilience of the financial system, the internal organisation of banks to meet these requirements and finally financial communication around regulatory requirements.

𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞: “𝐒𝐩e𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 or *Modelling”:

The aim of this module is to provide an understanding of risk modelling, to present techniques and approaches for modelling credit risk estimation parameters (Probability of default, Loss given default, Exposure given default, CCF, …). It also addresses the issues involved in using the models.
