The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) in Abidjan, a Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with the Abdul Latif Jameel Laboratory for Action against Poverty (J-PAL), which has specialised in impact evaluation for the past twenty years, will be awarding certificates to the first graduating class in Public Policy Assessment this Tuesday 22 October from 1.30pm in the ENSEA amphitheatre.

The ceremony, sponsored by Mrs Nialé KABA, Minister of the Economy, Planning and Development, and attended by Professor Pascaline Dupas, Scientific Director of J-PAL Africa and Professor of Economics at Princeton University, USA, is an initiative supported by the Ivorian government and the Agence Française de Développement.

This certification course aims to train participants in the key concepts of impact assessment, while instilling a culture of evidence in the design and implementation of development policies.
