The Director of ENSEA welcomed a delegation from the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Guinea-Conakry, this Thursday, July 28, 2022 within his institution.

On an experience sharing mission in Côte d’Ivoire, within the framework of the preparation of the 4th PHC of Guinea, the Director of the INS of Guinea accompanied by his team came to inquire about the strategy of Côte d’Ivoire which has just completed its 5th  Population and Housing Census (RGPH) in terms of methodologies, constraints and challenges.

On this occasion, the delegation led by Dr. Makan DOUMBOYA visited ENSEA in Abidjan. Indeed, ENSEA supports various regional statistical institutes through the training of statistical officers, capacity building of NSIs and the continuous training of statisticians.

This exchange made it possible to revisit the INS Guinea-Conakry and ENSEA partnership with the proposal to train a critical mass of executives for the elaboration of national accounts with a first wave of 100 people to be trained over the next five years and in the long term to create a local training school.

The delegation also met with Guinean students being trained at ENSEA.
