ENSEA/The Econometrics Society: 2021 Africa Summer School in Econometrics and 2021 African Meeting
Created in 1961, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée d’Abidjan (ENSEA) is a National Public Establishment which celebrates in 2021 its 60 years of existence and experience in the service of Africa’s development.
Researchers are invited to submit their applications for the AFRICA SUMMER SCHOOL IN ECONOMETRICS to be held from 25 May to 01 June 2021 at ENSEA prior to the AFRICAN MEETING OF ECONOMETRIC SOCIETY to be held from 03 to 05 June 2021 also at ENSEA. Researchers are also invited to submit papers for the African Meeting of Econometric Society.
Admission to ENSEA is exclusively gained by entry examination. Usually, registration for the examinations starts in January and written tests take place in April of each year. The results will be available in June on the school’s website and will also be e-mailed to those who will be declared admitted by email. The quality of its training, the density of its syllabus and the operational skills of its graduates earned ENSEA the World Bank Centre of Excellence label in 2015.

Created in 1961, the Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée d’Abidjan, editor’s note), ENSEA, is a National Public Institution whose vocation is to provide training for statisticians in French-speaking African countries. In June 1969, due to its increasingly international character, a text law established the school as a higher education public institution with a civil personality and financial autonomy. To date, it has trained about 4,000 statisticians from more than twenty (20) countries in Africa and Haiti.

A delegation from ENSEA of Abidjan led by Dr. Hugues KOUADIO, Director of the school, took part in the launching ceremony of the support project the creation of employment opportunities and sources of income related to digital technology for the youth of CI.
The Director of ENSEA of Abidjan informs that for the 2020 – 2021 academic year, the 2021 session of the competitive entrance examination to ENSEA in the course of Engineering Senior Statistician Economist (ISE), Mathematics/Economics option, and Statistics Analysts (AS) is open.
In addition to the reputation it has acquired in the field of initial training for statisticians and economists for African countries, ENSEA provides introductory and advanced training in various fields for a wide audience (public and private administration executives).
ENSEA of Abidjan is an institution whose vocation is to ensure the training of statisticians for African countries. This training is delivered through four distinct cycles, designed according to the level of student recruitment and the career envisaged at the end of the training.
Through MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses), or FOAD (Open Distance Training) you have the possibility to train from home.
