The Network of African Schools of Statistics (RESA) composed of the Sub-Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISSEA), Yaoundé-Cameroon, the National School of Statistics and Economic Analysis (ENSAE), Dakar-Senegal and the National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSEA), Abidjan-Côte d’Ivoire have signed a cooperation agreement since September 27, 2016, to develop and organize some common activities.

RESA’s activities have covered the following areas in particular:

  • Coordination of ESA activities ;
  • Development of harmonised training programmes;
  • Development of research activities on training-related topics;
  • Organisation of joint recruitment entrance examinations to the Engineering in Statistics & Economics (ISE) and Engineering in Statistics (ITS) programmes
  • Exchange of lecturers and students;
  • Pooling of resources (documentation, management tools, etc.);
  • Production of teaching materials (course materials, case studies, teaching games, etc.);
  • Organisation of seminars or workshops on technical or institutional issues related to statistical training;
  • Organisation of refresher courses for ESA lecturers;
