The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) has signed agreements and conventions with several academic institutions in Côte d’Ivoire and abroad. This allows for the adjustment of curricula to international standards and the offering of double degrees to students. The academic partnership also favours the local retention of students via teaching missions through which lecturers from all over the world teach students.

ENSEA has developed a network of national and international academic partnerships to

  • give its students the opportunity to have a double degree.
  • increase the diversity of our students by welcoming students from French, English and Portuguese-speaking African countries. To date, 22 nationalities are represented.
  • to stimulate joint research between lecturer-researchers from different countries and promote the production of knowledge in multidisciplinary and multinational teams (conferences, seminars, publication of works).
  • For many years, the training of the Engineers in Statistics and Economics (ISE) and that of the Engineers in Statistics (ITS) has been provided by CAPESA, whose primary responsibility is the organisation of competitive entrance examinations to African statistical schools.

  • The Network of African Schools of Statistics (RESA) composed of the Sub-Regional Institut Sous-régional de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ISSEA), Yaoundé-Cameroun, the Ecole Nationale de la statistique et de l’Analyse Economique (ENSAE), Dakar-Sénégal and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA), Abidjan-Côte d’Ivoire have signed a cooperation agreement since September 27, 2016, in order to develop and organize some common activities.

  • The purpose of this agreement, dated November 2016, is to specify the terms and conditions for the application and selection of ENSEA Engineering students for admission on the basis of qualifications to the ENSAE PariTech Engineering program.

  • The purpose of this agreement dated November 2016, is to specify the application terms and selection of Engineering Students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) of Abidjan for admission on the basis of qualifications in the Engineering program of the Ecole Nationale de Statistique et Analyse de l'Informatique (ENSAI).

  • A cooperation agreement for the establishment of a joint Bi-degree training in the field of actuarial science was signed on 10 November 2017 between the Claude Bernard University of Lyon 1 (UCBL) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) of Abidjan.

  • The Network of African Schools of Statistics (RESA) composed of the Sub-Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISSEA), Yaoundé-Cameroon, the National School of Statistics and Economic Analysis (ENSAE), Dakar-Senegal and the National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSEA), Abidjan-Côte d'Ivoire have signed a cooperation agreement since September 27, 2016, to develop and organize some common activities.

  • A cooperation agreement between Laval University in Quebec (Canada) and the École Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d'Économie Appliquée (ENSEA) in Abidjan was signed in July 2017, with a view to improving the training of students from both institutions, and to developing their teaching and research resources in the field of their competence through this collaboration.

  • The World Finance Centre London and ENSEA Abidjan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 14 February 2019 to promote the achievement of national development goals.

  • On 28 April 2008, the Council of Ministers adopted the conclusions of a communication concerning a request for authorisation from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée and Tulane University (New Orleans, USA) for the implementation, over a period of 2 years, of a research project on "child labour in the plantation economy", particularly in the cocoa sector. Several agreements have been signed in this framework.

  • A cooperation agreement signed, between ENSEA and the University Cergy Pontoise (France) since June 20, 2014, has allowed to promote exchanges between the two institutions.

  • Signed on 06 July 2017, the agreement between the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d'Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) of Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire and the World Trade Organization (WTO) on the joint organization of a Regional Trade Policy Course (RTPC) for government officials from French-speaking African countries.
